Melinda Richardson
Melinda has worked across the nonprofit, startup, and corporate spaces focused on working with impactful organizations making a difference in the world - and in particular on women's healthcare. She is currently the Head of Client Success with Doveras Fertility, where she guides clients through complex IVF and surrogacy journeys, and Vice President of the Himalayan Children's Future Fund, which supports children's healthcare, education, and housing needs.
Melinda has a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell and earned a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain where as part of her studies interned at United Nations Headquarters at the UN Office for Partnerships. She majored in Philosophy and Political Science at Boston University and took part in their internship program where she worked in the Lord Mayor of Sydney’s office in Australia.
Melinda has developed programming and communications strategies for: The Gynecologic Research Foundation, Himalayan Children's Future Fund, United Nations Association of Southern New York, United Nations Democracy Fund, A Caring Hand - The Billy Esposito Fund, Women's Venture Fund, IDP Foundation, VEERAH, and Chasdrew Fund.
Melinda served on the National Council of the United Nations Association of the U.S. and served as Chair of the Board of the United Nations Association Young Professionals in New York City. She has spoken at the United Nations on young professional engagement and advocacy, and has curated and led conferences and educational events focused on health tech and healthcare innovation.
Melinda is based in Brooklyn, New York with her chiweenie Penny and in her spare time practices her skills as a photographer for nonprofits and meditation retreats around the world (Nepal, Spain, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya... so far!) and is on a mission to visit every U.S. National Park.
